Your before-you-go-offline checklist

Check: Source identity

Read the current publisher, listing and selected mode. Record the source and date rather than relying on a familiar icon.

Check: Installation and resources

Complete supported setup and read any required-resource prompts while a connection is available. Do not assume the first download is the whole installation.

Check: The activity you need

Identify a precise mode or level. Follow the provider’s guidance and note what you observed when a connection was unavailable.

Check: Progress and recovery

Read how progress is stored and recovered before changing accounts, clearing data or reinstalling. Keep recovery information private.

Check: Optional connected features

Review sync, purchases, rewarded features and updates separately. A main activity and an optional online feature may need different notes.

Check: A dated device note

Record the app version, phone, selected activity and observation date. A checked box records preparation, not certification that every function works offline.
